Youth and Philanthropy Fund

The Youth and Philanthropy Fund provides grants to organizations that address issues that impact young people in Berks County.

In April 1998, the Board of Directors of Berks County Community Foundation approved the creation of a Youth Advisory Committee in order to give interested Berks County youth a hands-on experience in grantmaking decisions.

Berks County Community Foundation allow donors to support a broad charitable purpose or category of interest, such as animals, the arts, education, or a specific geographic area in Berks County. The Community Foundation manages more than 300 charitable funds that provide grants and scholarships for a variety of organizations and causes. Donations can be made to any fund at any time.
