The Wilson Scholarship Fund has awarded more than $200,000 in scholarships since 1999.
Hassan K. Richardson, a 2014 scholarship recipient, says this about the Wilson Scholarship Fund:
With the scholarship funding, I have been able to continue my studies at Purdue University these past three years. Spring semester 2017 included thermodynamics, technical writing, industrial control systems, and advanced material science. I attained a GPA of 3.7 for my efforts.
I have been summer interning at Arkema Inc., a chemical company. This experience has confirmed my choice of a major was a good one.
When you invest in our futures, it turns on a guiding light to our future making it possible for us to become role models for those who follow. Thank you to all the scholarship donors.
I will graduate in May 2018.
