We empower students and lifelong learners by providing scholarships, grants, and resources to help to ensure everyone can reach their full potential. Review the application process below to be considered through our universal application process. We recommend completing this application on a computer using Google Chrome as your browser. We do not suggest trying to complete this application on your phone.
Application Process Details:
The universal application is a single form that matches your answers to the scholarship(s) for which you qualify.
Follow these steps:
In response to the current delays in the FAFSA application process, students will not be required to provide FAFSA documentation as part of this year’s scholarship application process. All of the scholarship opportunities currently offered by the Community Foundation are available to students with no need for any documentation from FAFSA. For those scholarship applications which are based on financial need, applicants will be required to provide narrative information indicating their circumstances.
The universal application is a single form that matches your answers to the scholarship(s) for which you qualify.
After submitting your application, you will be directed to your dashboard where you will find the scholarship(s) that you qualify for. Some of these scholarships may have additional questions or requests that must be filled out to be considered for the scholarship. You may fill out everything in that moment or you can log back in to complete your application. The deadline for submissions and all questions is 11:59 pm EST March 1.

No. Be sure to check your dashboard for scholarship–specific follow-up questions that must be completed. After completing any additional questions or requests, be sure to submit your application for review. If you do not submit your application after completing scholarship-specific questions, your application will not be considered.
Each scholarship has eligibility requirements. Based on the universal application responses and the scholarship criteria, your application did not match with any of the scholarship opportunities.
If you believe you met all the criteria for a specific scholarship, but did not get matched with that opportunity, you may request a review of your application by emailing scholarships@bccf.org or calling 610.685.2223. After review, possible next steps will be discussed.
11:59 pm EST on March 1.
Applications cannot be submitted after 11:59 pm EST on March 1. In order to maintain a fair process, we cannot make exceptions.
Most scholarship decisions are announced no later than May. Notifications will be sent to all students regarding final decisions.
Log into your dashboard and complete your scholarship acceptance form. Be sure to RSVP to the scholarship luncheon. The scholarship luncheon is May 21. The deadline to RSVP to the scholarship luncheon is May 3.
Scholarship payments will be sent directly to the student’s school beginning in mid-July. (Delays in sending out payments typically occur when we do not have completed scholarship acceptance forms from students.) It usually takes at least two to three weeks for schools to receive and process payments.
Please email scholarships@bccf.org with your updates.
Please send questions to scholarships@bccf.org.
