Franki works with professional advisors and those who are interested in or have established a charitable fund. She also oversees the foundation’s financial and investment activities.
Franki oversees asset management and building operations at the Community Foundation while collaborating with local estate and financial planners on estate planning functions.
With a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Widener University and CPA certification, she brings extensive experience, having previously served as a Senior Audit Manager at KPMG specializing in nonprofit audits. After KPMG, she was a contracted fiscal officer to various companies, including the Community Foundation, where she came aboard full time in 1998.
Franki is a trustee for the Law Foundation of Berks County. She also serves on the finance committee of Berks Nature and Trinity Lutheran Church, Reading. She is a past president and member of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) and also chairs the PICPA investment committee. She is a board member of the Reading Public Museum Foundation and serves on their finance committee. She is also on the board of AAA Reading-Berks. She is a former board member of Alvernia University, Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania.
Franki’s dedication to community service has been recognized with awards such as the CFO of the Year Community Service Award from Lehigh Valley Business and the ATHENA Award from the Greater Reading Chamber of Commerce and Industry, which celebrates women who strive toward the highest level of professional accomplishment.
