The Jere O’Boyle Memorial Scholarship Fund for Daniel Boone High School was established in 2002 by the Estate of Grace V. Marshall. Grace established this fund through her will in memory of her late son, Jere O’Boyle, who was a talented, educated, and hard-working professional musician at the time of his tragic death.
The purpose of the fund is to provide annual scholarships to graduating Daniel Boone High School students who excelled in the study of music in high school. Preference should be given to students who will be pursuing a college degree in music, but students pursuing a college degree in a field other than music may also be considered as recipients.
Applications will be available for interested students to pick up at the Daniel Boone High School Counseling Office.
