Snyder Family Scholarship Fund (Conrad Weiser)

This fund was established in 2015 in memory of Mary Jane Snyder and in honor of Roy Snyder. Mary Jane graduated from Alvernia College in 1975 at the age of 39. She went on to teach third grade at the Womelsdorf School in the Conrad Weiser School District for 27 years where she was a caring, creative, conscientious, highly respected, and much loved teacher.

A scholarship will be awarded to a senior graduating from Conrad Weiser High School who intends to major in education, with a preference for elementary education. Preference will also be given to applicants who plan to attend Alvernia University or Penn State University, however, all applicants who meet the criteria are encouraged to apply.
