Neighborhoods and Economic Development

Berks County Offers the Best Urban, Rural, and Suburban Lifestyles

When people care about the place they live, they really care. We manage several funds created by local people to ensure the neighborhoods they loved continue to thrive.

  • Boyertown Charitable Program
More than a dozen funds benefit the residents of the Boyertown area, supporting local community, safety and recreational organizations and helping students go on to college.
  • Governor Mifflin Area Charitable Program
Judge Russel Hiller created a fund in his will to provide grants in the area served by the Governor Mifflin School District. Many of the programs bring special experiences to local children.
  • Church Mission Funds
When a church closes its doors, the remaining members can be sure its legacy lives on by creating a charitable fund that provides grants to support the mission of the church.

We turn initiatives into action.

With the help of community partners and committed volunteers, we take what we learn and put it to work through specific programs.
