5th Annual Grip 5k Run & Run For Dreamers Fundraiser

Greater Reading Immigration Project (GRIP) is hosting its 5th Annual Run and Fun Run Fundraiser on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at Schlegel Park. On the day of the event, registration for runners opens at 9am, and the race starts at 10am. The Greater Reading Immigration Project (GRIP) supports “Dreamer” students through the GRIP Dreamer Scholarship Fund of Berks County Community Foundation. To raise charitable dollars for this fund, GRIP is hosting its 5th Annual 5K Run and Fun Run Fundraiser. Your support helps Dreamer students pursue their educational goals. A “Dreamer” student refers to undocumented young people who were brought to the United States, grew up here, and call this country home. In Pennsylvania, “Dreamer” students are not eligible for federal or state financial aid, creating barriers to higher education.
