Prior to her role at the Community Foundation, Jen worked as a marketing and communications professional in various sectors, including non-profit, independent publishing, and retail. Jen was a regional chapter liaison for Arts Ignite (formerly Artists Striving to End Poverty, also known as “ASTEP”), and Creative Director of Albright College’s chapter of ASTEP.

Jen graduated from Exeter Township Senior High School and earned her Bachelor of Arts from Albright College, with a major in English Literature and minor in Theatre. She was a Shirk Scholar and 2019 Gold “A” Award Winner for her outstanding leadership in campus activities and for enriching the cultural life of the College through intellectual, literary, musical, artistic and social endeavors. In 2018, Jen became an Artist as Citizen scholar at The Juilliard School. The following year, Jen spearheaded a group of Berks County volunteers who sought to defend tenant rights of renters local to the area. She holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Temple University.

After living in Philadelphia for three years, Jen returned to Berks County in 2025 with her partner, Evan, who also attended Albright College. In her free time, Jen enjoys exploring national parks, trying out new restaurants with friends, and hanging out with her two cats, Mittens and Joseph.
